Easy Mint Chicken

Ingredients

  1. Chicken – 500g
  2. Onion – 1 medium
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  4. Coriander  – ¼ cup
  5. Mint – ½ cup
  6. Green chilly – 3-4
  7. Pepper – 1tsp crushed
  8. Curd – 3tbsp
  9. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  10. Sambar powder – 1tbsp
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Coconut oil – 3tbsp
  13. Ghee – 2tsp
  14. Fennel seeds – 1tsp
  15. Cinnamon – 1inch stick

method

  1. Grind onion, green chilly, coriander, mint leaves, sambar powder together into a paste and mix with curd.
  2. Heat a pan, add oil, fennel seeds, cinnamon, turmeric powder and chicken.
  3. Sauté it until the raw smell goes off.
  4. Then add the ground paste, salt and mix well.
  5. Add 250 ml water and cook on high flame for 5min.
  6. Then cook on low flame for 20min.
  7. Once the chicken cooked well add pepper powder and ghee on top of it and serve.
